  • Connect your device to the correct WiFi network
If you have more than one WiFi connection, then you need to check if you have connected your Echo device to the correct WiFi network. If you want to check the currently connected WiFi network, then you need to follow the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: First of all, launch the Alexa app connected with your Echo, and click on the “Devices” option.
Step 2: Now, click on the “Echo and Alexa” option and then tap on the “Echo” option.
Step 3: After this, you will be navigated to the “Echo device settings” page, where you can confirm your WiFi name under the WiFi network option.
Step 4: To select the “forget a WiFi network” option, first you need to turn off the router, then change the password, followed by resetting the Echo device, and finally, start the Echo device setup process again.

  • Change or update the WiFi password.
If you have recently changed your WiFi password, you need to update the new WiFi password into your Echo device. Otherwise, your Echo device won’t connect to the WiFi network. To update the WiFi password on your Echo device, you need to go to the Echo device settings tab on your Alexa app and then tap on the change button next to the WiFi option. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the new password on your Echo device.
