Step 4: To select the “forget a WiFi network” option, first you need to turn off the router, then change the password, followed by resetting the Echo device, and finally, start the Echo device setup process again.

  • Change or update the WiFi password.
If you have recently changed your WiFi password, you need to update the new WiFi password into your Echo device. Otherwise, your Echo device won’t connect to the WiFi network. To update the WiFi password on your Echo device, you need to go to the Echo device settings tab on your Alexa app and then tap on the change button next to the WiFi option.
