Step 1: Choose the best location

Step 2: Download and Install the Amazon Alexa App

After that, you need to download and launch the Alexa app on your device whatever you are using. You are prompted to log in to your Amazon account. In case, you do not have an account on Amazon then you have to create the account for yourself. It is the same account that you are using for shopping on Amazon. 

 

Step 3: Power Your Device 

Plug in your Echo Dot into the power socket. Now, you will see that a blue LED light on the device will turn to orange. Thereafter, you will see the onscreen instructions that guide you how to complete the Amazon Echo Dot setup on your device by using the app.

 

Step 4: Enable Bluetooth

Step 7: Connect to the WiFi Connection

In the next step, you need to choose the WiFi network with which you want to connect your Amazon Echo dot device. Enter the password for your chosen wireless network if required.

 

Step 8: Choose the Room to place the device 

Now, you have to choose the room where you want to place the Amazon Echo Dot device.
