  1. On Echo, keep the Action button pressed for around 30 seconds.
  2. Wait till the ring light for Echo turns orange, and then gets off.
  3. Then, release the Action button.
  4. Wait for some time, till the ring light doesn’t get blue for the Echo Dot.
  5. Now, the ring light again will turn into an orange color signifying the setup mode.
  6. Complete the setup via the Alexa app, and use your Echo again.
