Step 2: Add Your Device

Once, you verify your email id, the Kasa app will ask you to add your device in it i.e., Smart Plug. TP-Link offers mainly two types of the Smart Plug including Mini-sized and normal-sized one. It is better to choose the smaller size Smart Plug as it enables you to choose the other outlets or stack two of a single outlet. For both of the devices, the setup procedure is totally the same.

Step 3: Plug-in Your Device

Now, you can plug in your Smart Plug. The app will find your device and connect it to the Wireless router. Once it is connected, light amber and green flashlight blink on the Smart Plug. This app will connect you to a WiFi network. All of these things happen fast.

Step 4: Assign a Name to your Smart Plug

After that, the app will ask you to assign a name to your Smart Plug. Use your imagination to assign a good name for plugs. Give a name to your Smart Plug in the Kasa app. For this, you just need to verify the email address. Open your email address and look for an email from TP-Link. Click on the email address and follow the process to complete the registration process.
