In case, your speaker has AUX input then firstly plug the cable into your Echo input device and then into your speaker. It is recommended to choose a speaker which is compatible with your Echo input device.
Plugin your echo input into an electrical outlet by using the provided adapter.
Open the Amazon Alexa app setup from your mobile device whether it is iOS or Android.
After that, tap on the More option present at the lower-right corner of the displayed screen.
In the next step, tap on “Add a device”.
Now, select Amazon Echo, and after that select Echo input.
Click on the Yes button if your echo device is plugged in and displays an orange light.
Choose Echo input and follow on-screen instructions to connect your device to WiFi.
After that, a confirmation message displays on your screen that the Echo input is connected successfully. Click on the Continue button to proceed further.
For connecting Echo input to the setup, select “Connect Aux cable or Connect Bluetooth speaker”.
In case, you select Bluetooth then you have to follow the instructions for pairing the Bluetooth speaker to Echo input.
Hit the continue button. Now, your Echo input is ready to use.
