Setup Amazon Echo: Download Alexa App

It’s not enough to talk to Google Assistant, Apple Siri, or Microsoft Cortana.  These days the best audio assistant choice seems to be the Latest Version of Alexa App.  Alexa is a smart voice assistant technology that comes built-in in the Amazon Echo range and FireTV. Download the Alexa app

 You can download the Alexa app for free on your Android or iOS device.  The Latest Version of Alexa App is available for all the supported platforms like fire tablets, computers, and laptops. 

 Pick a device to set up

 To use Alexa, you will need an Amazon account.  Sign in to the application and click on the menu present on the top left corner.  Choose your device.  Here,  you can add the different smart devices to your account like Smart TV or bulb, etc. Tap on the Echo device you want to add and set up. 

Enter Setup Mode 

When your Echo ring light turns to blue and then orange, it means, your device is ready for the setup. If you don't see the orange ring light, we suggest you press and hold an action button for Italy 5 seconds.  Your device will enter into the setup mode.

Connect Smart Phone 

Close the Alexa app and open the wifi settings of your phone. Find the Amazon network and get connected. Get back the to Alexa app to proceed with the setup. 

Set up Home wi-fi

Get back to your Alexa,  and see the list of available wireless networks.  Here you have to choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.  Once you are successfully connected,  Amazon Alexa will say "  your Echo is ready"  and the orange ring light will go out.
