  • Get the Amazon Alexa installed on your device from the Microsoft store. For this, you need to login to the Microsoft account. 
  • Now, get the Alexa app installed from here on your device. 
  • Once you are done with the installation, you will be prompted to log in to your Amazon account, or you can create the new account if not registered yet. 
  • Log in and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the Alexa app on your Windows 10 device. 
Once you are done, you can use the Alexa services on Windows 10 computer. Here, one thing you need to make sure that you have allowed the microphone stress, otherwise your Alexa voice assistant won’t be able to hear you or execute the instructions. There are plenty of commands that you can give to your Alexa. To give commands, you need to use the wake word ‘Alexa’, otherwise, the device won’t recognize your command. You can also change the wake word to the ‘Echo’ or ‘Computer’ depending upon your choice. The commands you can give to your Alexa app are: 

  • Alexa, what is the weather update? 
  • Alexa, turn off the bulbs. 
  • Alexa, play music. 
  • Alexa, turn on Tv. 
  • Alexa, lock the door. 

Important - A strong and stable internet connection is very important for the proper functioning of the Alexa App. So, make sure your internet is working fine.
