If you are going to set up the Amazon Echo Speakers for the first time, follow the application’s step by step instructions for connecting the Amazon Echo speaker to the wireless network. Update the firmware and enabled features such as Bluetooth.

Once you are done with it, get started with the Alexa Calling and Messaging: 
  • Open the Amazon Alexa app and click on the ‘Speech Bubble’ icon present at the bottom of the screen. 
  • Now, the welcome screen will be displayed, click on the ‘Get Started’ button. 
  • Choose your name from the list displayed on the screen. After that, click on the ‘Continue’ button. 
  • Now, you will be asked for granting permission to Alexa to access your phone’s contact. Click Allow to continue.
  •  The Alexa application will now prompt you for the verification of your number. Enter the number and then wait for the verification code. Paste this code in the corresponding text field and then tap on the ‘Continue’ button.
