How to Connect Amazon Alexa to The Internet?

Before You Start

Connect Amazon Alexa to the internet, but before that turn on the speaker. Make sure that your internet is properly working as Alexa does not work well on limited access to the network.
  • Turn on the Speaker

When you turn on Alexa, the Home screen appears after 10 seconds.
  • Click on the Settings Button

You can find the Settings button in the Action menu. To open the Action menu, you can swipe down from the top of your screen.
  • Tap on the Network Settings item

Find the 'Network Settings' option from the menu. This will open the 'Connect to Network' screen and provide the screen to the Echo Alexa Spot Wireless settings.
  • Find the Desired Wifi Network

The 'Connect to Network' screen will show you available wireless networks. Choose the right one for setting up your Alexa spot. If you are unable to find the wifi network, then place your device closer to the router and try again.
  • Tap the desired Wireless Network Enter

Provide the network password to connect to the wireless network.
  • Tap on the Hide Password Button

Skip ahead if you want to check the password characters appearing on the screen. But, if you want to hide the characters, use the Hide password option.
  • Enter Internet Network Password

Provide the wireless password for the network you have chosen. For this, you can use the onscreen virtual keyboard.
  • Click on the Check Mark Button

Once you have entered the password, click on 'Gray Checkmark Button' present at the bottom of the screen. The device will show you the wifi network confirmation screen. Now, proceed with further steps.
  • Tap to Continue

Click on the continue button to proceed further.
  • Tap on the Blue Continue Button

Click the Blue continue button to proceed with the process as mentioned in the picture.
  • Click the Blue Next Button

When you click on this button the Alexa will ask you for the Amazon account password.
  • Click on the Hide button

If you want to keep the password secret, you can click on the hide button.
  • Enter Amazon account password

You can use the little virtual keyboard to enter the password.
  • Tap on the 'Teal Done' (Checkmark) button

Find and tap in the checkmark button present at the bottom of the Alexa Spot screen, at the six o'clock position.
  • Your device is now connected to the internet.

After this, you can return to the home screen of your Alexa spot by saying the command 'Alexa, Go Home'. This is how to connect the Amazon Alexa to the Internet.
